Hi!  My name is Kiersten!

This page is all about me, but I hope that you click on the rest of the pages to see more about the other people from my church, St. Paul Lutheran Church from Westerville, Ohio,  involved with the 2012 National Youth Gathering of the ELCA.

• If you were a professional baseball player, what would your walkup song be?
Centerfield by John Fogerty its perfect for baseball i just want a pump up song full of energy
• Where do you go to school? Westerville Central
• What grade did you just complete? 10
• If you had a whole day to yourself, what would you do with it? First I would sleep in!!!!!!!! Then I might watch a movie or go outside and play softball, hopefully get a tan :) I really don't care what I do as long as it is chill, relaxing, stress-free/drama-free. I'm in for a good laugh and some quality fun!
• Why do you want to go to the NYG in New Orleans? What are you most looking forward to? We have been learning about discipleship and how to serve God since we were little thats why i think NYG is the perfect place  to give our knowledge and gifts to other people and let them be absorbed in it. It's going to be out of some of our comfort zones but I think that's what so important about NYG, in order to become leaders,  we will have to step up and serve; and NYG will teach us how to do that.  I think it will be a lot of fun and i'm looking forward to go to New Orleans and see the different culture there, I've been to Georgia and the people down there were amazing. we are so used to our lifestyle and we can't really imagine living any other way; but these people will show us new things we have never seen before and i hope we will take that in as we go and the experience will  make us more well-rounded people, i get excited just thinking about it.   I also watch The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she often talks about her hometown in New Orleans and I can't wait to see those things in person:) 
              I'm ready to find out what my God-given talent is and maybe New Orleans will be the place for me to find it. 

• Are you involved in any extra curricular activities at school? Softball <3 <3
  Girl Scouts.  Helped coach a middle school 7th grade volleyball team.
